The Design/Build Process
Initial Consultation
The initial consultation consists of meeting at the proposed project to discuss feasibility, project concept, and budget. Our goal is to fully understand your needs, to fully explain our role and educate you on our process necessary to complete your desired project.
Feasibility Study & Preliminary Design
Once a preliminary design has been approved, we will start working on your project plans and specifications. It is during this stage that we will take precise measurements, create initial drawings, and check on zoning restrictions. This will provide you with a better understanding of what is involved in the process as well as a rough budget of costs.
Product Presentation and Selection/Final Design
Your designer will create a custom design concept and personally guide you through product selection, ultimately presenting you with a final plan. Once you’ve approved the design and finalized product selections, the final draft can be priced for prompt and professional installation.
Construction
During the construction phase of the project our Project Manager is the vital link of communication between you, the owner, and us, the contractor. The Project Manager keeps you abreast of the progress, answers questions and makes certain everything is moving forward as planned.
Once the project is completed, the Project Manager walks through the project with you and develops a "punch-list" for all final items. Our final step assures your satisfaction and establishes yet another satisfied customer for Pin Oak.
